Specialty Care is provided by board certified experts in internal medicine and surgery. These specialists have received advanced training in their specific fields of veterinary medicine beyond the level of routine veterinary practice. They have passed a rigorous series of examinations certifying them in their respective specialties.

Specialty services are Monday - Friday 8a.m. to 6p.m. by referral appointment only.

Emergency Services are offered from 6p.m. to 8a.m. Monday through Thursday, from 6p.m. Friday to 8a.m. Monday (weekend service), and all holidays. Twenty-four-hour care is available for the most critically ill or injured patients. This service allows uninterrupted patient care and monitoring and eliminates the stress of daily transfers between veterinarians and emergency facilities.

Fees and Payments

Specialized and/or emergency diagnostics and treatment are more expensive than in general practice, but often are less expensive in the long run. Fees are based on time, skills, equipment and instrumentation required for each case. Estimates are available prior to admission.

Initial deposits may be required. Full payment is due when services are rendered. You may pay by cash, approved check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express or CARE CREDIT.

VRCC offers rehabilitation therapy to both cats and dogs for post-operative

 procedures as well as arthritis, pain control, and to improve quality of life.
